안녕하세요, family and friends. Today we’re going to read Genesis 25.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a physical copy of the Bible. You can read this chapter on page 2 of this blog post.
In this passage, we are reminded that God comes through with his promises. We are introduced to Abraham’s many descendants and Isaac’s sons.
And responding, he said, “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples will be divided out of your womb, and one people will overcome the other people, and the elder will serve the younger.”

The latter half of this verse could be where firstborns’ willingness to care for their younger siblings derive from. Being the older, sometimes much wiser and stronger one, they have the responsibility to ensure their sibling’s safety and security. In every way they can.
So, remember to trust in the Lord and his promises. In addition to that, if you’re a firstborn, keep at it, hang in there, your consistency will prosper.
