안녕하세요, family and friends. Today we’re going to read Genesis 27.
Don’t worry if you’ve not read the Bible or don’t have a physical copy of it. You can read it on page 2 of this blog post.
So, from Genesis 25, the Lord has said that the elder of the two sons of Isaac will serve the younger one. However, in Genesis 27 when Isaac wanted to bless his sons before his death, he wanted to give Esau, his firstborn the blessing. As fathers before him have given their first-born males their blessings. Still, what Isaac wanted to do was intercepted by God’s will.
In this passage, we are reminded of how God’s will always prevail. Though it may not be in the way that we expect it to happen, the end result would still be the same.
We can make our plans and do as we wish but in the end, if God wills it or not is still the final say.
