안녕하세요, family and friends. Today, we’re going to read Genesis 32.
Before we start though, I want to say Happy Monday! I hope everyone is well rested and ready for our third week of devotionals! Reading passages of the bible and understanding the lessons we can learn from them.
So, as always don’t worry if you don’t have a physical copy of the Bible. You can read it on page 2 of this blog post.
The first part of this passage reminds us that we should pray in times when we are afraid. It will give us the courage that we need.
The second part, when Jacob wrestled with God until morning, can tell us two things. One is that we grow through difficulties, both in ourselves and within our relationships.
We should not be afraid of our struggles and we should not run away from our mistakes or people who make us see it. Through accepting our faults and avidly working on them can we really evolve into the best versions of ourselves.
Another lesson we could take is that sometimes when arguments arise it is better to come into an agreement as soon as possible. Especially, between friends, families or partners. For it can drain our energy the longer we hold onto our grudges.
