Genesis 35

안녕하세요, family and friends. Today, we’re going to read Genesis 35.

If you don’t have a physical copy of the Bible, don’t worry. I got you! You can read it on page 2 of this blog post.

Now, this passage is a quick reminder, and even if you’re not a Christian you will know of this lesson. To know where you stand and to be loyal. Keep your integrity, beliefs and faith. To not have other Gods or foreign Gods to worship, which is the first of the Ten Commandments.

Our beliefs should have a stand. We should know to which our loyalties and faith rests. If it is with Lord God, Jesus Christ then it is best to only believe in him.

In truth Jacob, having called together all his house, said: “Cast away the foreign gods that are in your midst and be cleansed, and also change your garments.”

Genesis 35:2 – CPDV

At the same time, this chapter reminds all Fathers that they have responsibilities over their household to abide by this commandment and uphold the gospel of the Lord God, Jesus Christ.

If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.
