안녕하세요, family and friends. Today, we’re going to read Genesis 39

Don’t worry if you don’t have a physical copy of the Bible. You can read it on page 2 of this blog post.

This passage continues on Joseph’s story in Egypt and as in every chapter of the bible there are lessons we can take from this.

1. God changes not just your life when you give your all to him; the people around you also benefit. As long as those people are also true to you.

And the Lord blessed the house of the Egyptian, because of Joseph, and he multiplied all his substance, as much in the buildings, as in the fields.

2. Sometimes it is when you completely trust in the Lord God and follow his commandments that you go through unpleasant situations. Much like when Joseph was put in prison for refusing the advances of the Pharaoh’s wife.

3. God will equip you. If you ever find yourself in a position you believe you have no experience or knowledge of, trust in the Lord for he will give you everything you need.

Neither did he himself know anything, having entrusted all things to him. For the Lord was with, and he directed everything that he did.

4. No matter what life throws at you, the Lord God will always have your back. Keep your faith in him and thank him for all his glory.
