안녕하세요, family and friends. Today we’re reading Exodus 14.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a physical copy of the Bible. You can read it on Page 2 of this blog post.
One thing we can take away from this passage is that the knowledge of God’s glory is to be passed down through generations; as our ancestors have done to ensure our relationship with the Lord is favourable.
Then your children will ask, ‘What does this ceremony mean?’ And you will reply, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice to the Lord , for he passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt. And though he struck the Egyptians, he spared our families.’” When Moses had finished speaking, all the people bowed down to the ground and worshiped.

Another lesson is to not be afraid of the troubles ahead but to put our faith in God.
But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again.

Lastly, prayers are more effective if we also work for what we have prayed for. If there are actions to be taken then prayers simply won’t work if nothing is taken into action.
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving!
