Exodus 24

안녕하세요, family and friends. Today we’re reading Exodus 24

Don’t worry if you don’t have a physical copy of the Bible. You can read it on Page 2 of this blog post.

This passage reminds us of the importance of obeying God’s orders. It is what would give us eternal life with Him.

And taking up the book of the covenant, he read it in the hearing of the people, who said: “All that the Lord has spoken, we will do, and we will be obedient.”

Exodus 24:7 CPDV

Also, it reminds us that in our time of solitude God appeals to us so we can understand that even if we don’t know the path to take next, God knows and he will be by our side.

Then the Lord said to Moses: “Ascend to me on the mountain, and be there. And I will give to you tablets of stone, and the law and the commandments that I have written. So may you teach them.”

Exodus 24:12 CPDV

When we are left to our own devices, it’s easy to wallow in defeat and loneliness, but that’s not what God wants for us. When we find ourselves alone, we should use this time to praise Him and hear his words – by opening up and offering to the Lord God any worries, problems or concerns we have. This may not get rid of the situation in the way we hope it would but God does promise us that He will be there to help us through it. And in doing so, we create a personal relationship with him that won’t be too easy to ruin.
