Exodus 40

안녕하세요, family and friends. Today, we’re going to read Exodus 40.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a physical copy of the Bible or have not read this chapter before. You can read it on Page 2 of this post.

The Christian symbol is the cross honouring Jesus Christ and the sacrifice he endured to save all of those who believe in him. This symbol is used not just in our place of worship but in our hospitals and schools too. It reminds us that God is omnipresent; he is everywhere.

During the time of Moses, the symbol of God’s presence was not yet the cross. Instead it was the cloud and fire, which guided them during their travels.

Certainly, the cloud of the Lord lay over the tabernacle by day, and the fire by night, being seen by all the people of Israel throughout all their resting places.
Exodus 40:36 CPDV

This chapter reminds us that God is always with us and is always ahead of us.

He makes sure that our path leads us back to his Kingdom. Detours and delays are expected because we are not perfect. Much like the Israelites, we are also quick to shift our focus, but God didn’t give up on them. So, no matter how many times we get sidetracked away from his love, it is important to remember one thing: God is omnipresent. All we need to do is to seek him and he will help us in every way he can.
