Psalm 77

안녕하세요, friends and family. Today, we’re going to read Psalm 77.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a physical copy of the Bible or have not read this chapter before. You can read it on Page 2 of this blog post.

There was something I read before about the lessons people have learnt from their parents. I really liked one of them, and I think it relates to today’s chapter.

It was “when I was a child, whenever my parents gave me something and I didn’t say thank you for it, they took it away from me.”

I think sometimes we forget to show gratitude whenever we receive something of importance. May it be because of our own insecurities or plain ignorance, but regardless, we should always show gratitude to those around us.

Gratitude is a recurring theme throughout the Bible so, I can’t stress its importance enough.

  1. I couldn’t agree more!
Whenever we appreciate what we have, in my humble opinion, it is a good way to recognize and glorify the Lord. It only means that we are grateful for everything that He supplies our lives everyday.
This is a sweet and insightful devotional. I used to do this in my own blog. But I am determined to revive it in my newly set up law school website. After all, law students need to get closer with the Lord too, so we can be blessed with wisdom and guidance to become the most just lawyers that we could ever be.
Thank you, AJ, for sharing this. Pagpalain ka ng Maykapal because you are using your blog as an instrument to propagate the Word of God.

    1. Exactly! I hope even if you don’t get to revive it on your blog that you’d have time to do it on your own maybe? Law school can be pretty daunting. Hehe

Thank you very much po for reading this short devotional and taking the time to comment. May God be with you always and bless you too ✨

  2. Yes, AJ. Everyday. Importante, kahit walang nagbabasa or nakatingin, alam ni Lord na hindi ka nakakalimot pasalamatan at purihin siya. Keep this up, AJ! God bless you always. ❤
