안녕하세요, family and friends. Today we’re reading the Numbers 20.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a physical copy of the Bible. You can read it on Page 2 of this blog post.
When we are given direct orders, all we have to do is follow it as it’s been asked of us. The whole world would be in chaos if we didn’t have any type of rules, regulations or commandments.
Let me get something straight though, God’s commandments are different to the laws, us humans, govern ourselves with. Having said that, laws still derive from the bible, such as, our basic human rights.
Human laws are subjected to human errors. There are many loopholes and discrepancies which mean that it is changing almost everyday. On the other hand, the law of the Lord is absolute. The only thing that changes is the way it is interpreted to simplify it.
The Laws of the Lord can be simplified so common civilians, like us, will be able to understand it and apply it in our own lives. On the contrary, Human Laws are complex and, maybe a little too formal. That’s why only a few spend their time learning or understanding human laws, making it difficult for people to apply it in their own lives.
Ultimately, the most important law for us to uphold is that of the Lord. By applying God’s commandment we are already living a full life that is worthy of an eternal life with Him.
