Psalm 86

안녕하세요, family and friends. I hope you’re well, today were going to read Psalm 86.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a physical copy of the Bible. You can read it on Page 2 of this blog post.

Most of the time, as a Catholic, we follow a very traditional prayer. Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be. There are also those more specific ones like our prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Archangel Michael and the different Novena prayers.

All of the prayers I’ve mentioned above are valid and it’s been used for generations. However, writing your very own personal prayer is also valid. The difference is it is tailored just for you and your situation. This Psalm reminds us that we don’t always have to follow the traditional way of prayer.

Just remember to always start by putting yourself in the presence of the Lord and accepting that He is the creator. The creator, who has shown us mercy each day, despite not being worthy. The creator, who blesses us each day because he is good and forgiving.
