안녕하세요, family and friends. Today we’re reading Psalm 88.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a physical copy of the Bible. You can read it on Page 2 of this blog post.
One common misconception that unbelievers have is if we have faith and believe in Jesus Christ, we don’t suffer or have troubled moments and anxieties.
The thing is, even Jesus had moments of weakness and agony. It’s the first sorrowful mystery in the Holy Rosary. Our hardships are what makes us human and what brings us closer to God. By being in a situation where bad things seem to get worst and the only salvation we have is God, wouldn’t you be more than grateful to Him once things start to fall into their right places?
Our sufferings does not dictate how present or absent God is on our lives. No matter what we do or where we go God is always with us. Our sufferings can be of our own doing but at the same time, they are opportunities for growth. Not just growth within ourselves but for others too.
Each person of faith have their own testimonies, hardships and victories, which would be an inspiration for others. So, trust in the Lord when things get tough and you start to feel helpless.
God is close to the brokenhearted and saves the distraught.Psalm 34:19
