Deuteronomy 2

안녕하세요, family and friends. Today we’re reading Deuteronomy 2.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a physical copy of the Bible. You can read it on Page 2 of this blog post.

Before an activity or leaving the house, it is good to pray and ask for the Lord God’s blessing.

This chapter teaches us that the blessings we are given as well as the challenges we face are from God. So, we should always listen and wait for our time.

Do not provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land, not even enough to put your foot on.

Deuteronomy 2:5

This verse is repeated all over the chapter, asking them to pass by each village and city politely, and not start a war. God has his reasons for making us go through certain times, we should always remember that.

If God tells us that this time is not for us, we should gladly oblige and carry on with what he’s asked of us. To do good and praise his name. Then, when our time comes, God will present what we belong to us and all we have to do is step up and take it.

In the meantime, we should always be fearful of the Lord, our God. We should respect Mary and, our brothers and sisters in Christ.
