안녕하세요, family and friends. Today we’re going to read Psalm 110.
This psalm reminds us that God is king. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, the son of the Most High is someone of authority. Although, he is not the kind of authority that we are used to seeing. He is the King that serves his people.
Jesus Christ has always been deemed as a servant leader. He teaches us the way by letting us experience his love first-hand.
15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.John 13:15 – NIV
It is the kind of leadership which revolves around the notion of ‘Do as I do’.
In our world today, most leaders don’t have this mindset. Although, they do start out to seem as though it is their goal to be for the people… It seems that every action they take is for the people. However, once they assume into power, their real motives start to show. Then, somehow everything revolves around money and power-hungry corporations and individuals.
Thus, I want to remind those who are in power. To our leaders, please take a step back and evaluate the actions you take. Are they truly for the good of the people?
Are you following the teachings of the Lord?
If yes, then you’re doing a great job and you should keep that up. If no, then maybe you should start thinking of ways in which things could be turned around.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.
